Where to get Quality Free Fonts?

Since the early age of human race, communication is playing the vital role, either using body language, eye signal, or by using drawings. Then, to make communication better, human invented symbols then refined to become text. In the past, books were hand written, and thanks to Johannes Guternberg’s first printed book “42 Line Bible” by using movable type, books can be publish easily. Now in modern age, typefaces were transformed into digital format or “font”. Although David Carson once declared “The end of print”, but for me text and print is still important.

There are so many free fonts for download over the net but, only quite a few that provides quality, here are some of my selection.

Don’t have Photoshop? Try Picnik

Yesterday, I read through an article about the “25 web Sites to Watch“, I stumbled upon this website: Picnik.com. The web site is nicely designed with eye soothing graphics like grass and faded clouds. It is an online photo editor with some basic tools like: Resize, Crop and so on, plus with many cool and handy filter effects. You can just simply sign up, and start edit your pictures!

I like this website and the convenience of the service, it is real cool. Definitely a site worth watching at!

Apple new look

Today, I go to the Apple website, and found out the site look and feel is a bit different. Woot! The famous glossy Apple style navigation bar had changed to a more classy grey color bar. The sub second line bar is gone, but replaced with graphical slider bar, that’s uber cool! Overall, the bar looks way cleaner and modern than the old one! Brave and smart move Apple! I like it! Besides the whole website look and feel is more cleaner, classier too. Definitely Apple at its own class!

By the way, there is a great news for Windows user as Safari, the premium web browser for Apple, is available for Windows as well! Currently still in Beta, but you can download the beta version via here! Can’t wait to test it out, cool! Here are the news release note:
