Today I present you a new wallpaper exclusively from this blog. Obviously this wallpaper was inspired by US election 2008. Well, I don’t want to get political but I really like the visual identity and campaign presented by candidate Barack Obama. The graphics and typography are strong and giving big impact. Although it’s just a word “CHANGE”, it really gives the feeling of new hope and courage.

Actually I made this wallpaper a day before my previous company shuts down. When I reopen the file again, it really gives me nostalgic feeling because things had changed around me. For me “CHANGE” is a word with huge meaning, and it is all up to the person whether to take the move to make the change, in order to lead to a better oneself and future.

It’s been a messy last month and yesterday I browsed through my documents, and I totally forgot that actually I made a wallpaper design and actually wanted to submit to Smashing Magazine October wallpaper. Well I missed it and this is my late post for October 2008 wallpaper!

As usual, my wallpaper design is dark based with simple graphic. It features a clock that formed the number “10” which indicates October, with the October dates on the right side. The color is monochrome and basically the design was done in Photoshop. Below are the wallpaper resolutions for your desktop. It’s a bit late to post this as October has come but I hope you like it!

The Beijing Olympic 2008 has begun and I feel very excited about it! The best athletes from all around the world gathers in Beijing to compete for the best and at the same time, promoting friendship and harmony. “One World, One Dream” is the slogan for this edition of Olympic, I think is very meaningful and beautiful. Hello everyone I’m back with the new free wallpaper that designed by me. The inspiration came from the character that I sketched quite some time ago. I think it’s quite cute so decided to redraw it in Illustrator and make it into wallpapers.

I really like the expression of the “creature” (supposedly a dragon/godzilla inspired character), which giving me a kind of “Who? Me?” uncertainty expression. The dark background and the spotlight effect adding up the mood. Hope you like it and make it into your desktop wallpaper. As usual, various sizes to download:

Time running fast, now is a brand new month February and Valentine’s Day is approaching too. What’s your planning and how are you going to celebrate with your love one? I’m a lonely little guy but decided to design a Valentine’s Day wallpaper to share with fellow readers out there.

My Valentine’s Day wallpaper has a very simple and clean approach, the main attention is the heart shapes which form the word “LOVE”.
