There is so much nice web design galleries out there like CSS Beauty, The Best Designs, Best Web Gallery and many more for web designers everyday design inspiration. They showcases the great web design examples from all around the world which displays innovative web surfing experience and design aesthetics. But recently I ask myself, is there any gallery that showcases web designs from Japan? The answer is yes!
From little research on the net, I found four sites that is worth take a visit. Most of them are in Japanese language, but with the help of thumbnails and free translation services out there, I think the language is not the barrier anymore. Let us experience the beauty of Japanese web design!

Straightline bookmark is social bookmark service only for the web designer. Let’s share a wonderful web site by everyone. And, please obtain the inspiration of the new web design. This site is in black, and has the biggest screenshot thumbnail among the four galleries. It also lists sites that is in English and other languages as well. Currently listing 614 Japanese sites. It has a neat tagging system too.
In Kyoto dialect, Anjou Dekiteharu means “Well Done”. According to the moderator of this site, he said that this site is dedicated to the beauty of Japanese web designs, since there isn’t much out there. The websites are categorized by country. Currently listing more than 600 Japanese web sites.
Another web design gallery that index Japanese sites, probably with the largest collection because 2-4 new sites been added in everyday. Navigate the site through the categories that located on the left (gray box list).
Design Link Database
One advantage of this site is offering quick translation link at the top banner besides the logo. It also have the most detailed and complicated search option. This site displays sites from Japanese as well as International too. Currently has 230 Japanese sites listed. This site is quite hard (for me) to navigate thou, maybe because there is a lot of text displayed.
